The Plastics Industry Development Center (PIDC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Innovative Composite Center (ICC). The MOU was jointly signed by Yao-Kuei Hsiao, President of PIDC, and Prof. Kiyoshi Uzawa, Director of the Innovative Composite Center in Japan. Both parties will engage in technical exchanges and information sharing to promote the development of plastic materials technology.

Since 2016, PIDC has been collaborating with the Innovative Composite Center to address gaps in domestic technical capabilities through international partnerships. The Innovative Composite Center, an affiliated research institution of Kanazawa Institute of Technology, focuses on composite material research and development, corporate collaboration for new product development, integrating theory with practice for talent cultivation, and conducting international collaborations with overseas research institutions.
