Israel Economic & Trade Mission in Taipei Visits PIDC for Technical Exchange and Collaboration
Plastics Industry Development Center (PIDC) had the pleasure of welcoming the Israel Economic & Trade Mission in Taipei to its facilities on July, 9, 2024. The visit provided a valuable platform for mutual exchange, with PIDC introducing its innovative technologies and services to Mr. Aviv Doron, Head of Economic and Trade Mission in Taipei, and his team. The discussions during the visit highlighted the potential for future collaboration between the two organizations.
The meeting began with Mr. Doron presenting an overview of the Israel Economic & Trade Mission’s role in fostering bilateral trade and economic partnerships. His introduction set the stage for a deeper understanding of the mission’s objectives and its efforts to connect Israeli innovation with global industries.
Following this, PIDC showcased two of its core service areas. Hoong-Yuan Ho, an R&D technologist at PIDC, introduced the center’s advancements in technology research and sustainable design, emphasizing their commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility. Acacia Yu, the Group Leader of the Innovative Medical Device Service Group, presented PIDC’s expertise in medical device development, demonstrating the center’s capabilities in this rapidly evolving sector.
The visit concluded with a comprehensive discussion, where both sides exchanged ideas, explored potential areas for collaboration, and expressed enthusiasm about working together in the future. This open and engaging dialogue underscored the shared commitment to innovation and the pursuit of new opportunities.
